It&#8217;s about releasing yourself from the self-inflicting paralyzation that unforgiveness can put on us. Forgiving as Christ has forgiven cannot truly be done on our own. Verse 12 reminds us of a few things we can &#8216;put on&#8217; in order to forgive as God has. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Colossians 3:12-13 ESV<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>12<\/strong>Put on then, as God&#8217;s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, <strong>13<\/strong>bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.<\/p>\n<p>_______________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p>Following Jesus and enjoying life are not opposite ends of the spectrum.
