Sometimes we lose our true north or think the journey will save us. As Christians, our hope is in the work of the cross alone. God&#039;s gift of his Son and Spirit is what has saved us. Now, we work to reflect the good work that He has already done. Give out of a place of wholeness and not seeking to create a wholeness.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Titus 3:4-8 4\u00a0<\/strong>But when\u00a0the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,\u00a0<strong>5\u00a0<\/strong>he saved us,\u00a0not because of works done by us in righteousness, but\u00a0according to his own mercy, by\u00a0the washing of regeneration and\u00a0renewal of the Holy Spirit,\u00a0<strong>6\u00a0<\/strong>whom he\u00a0poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,\u00a0<strong>7\u00a0<\/strong>so that\u00a0being justified by his grace we might become\u00a0heirs\u00a0according to the hope of eternal life.\u00a0<strong>8\u00a0<\/strong>The saying is\u00a0trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful\u00a0to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people.<\/p>\n<p>Following Jesus and enjoying life are not opposite ends of the spectrum.
