God is ready to forgive at the point of repentance, but we want to see justice paid. But justice was paid on a cross for them and us. Keep this story in mind the next time you&#039;re bitter at someone walking in God&#039;s grace and mercy before you think they deserve it. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark 6:35-38\u00a035\u00a0<\/strong>And when it grew late, his disciples came to him and said, \u201cThis is a desolate place, and the hour is now late.\u00a0<strong>36\u00a0<\/strong>Send them away to go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.\u201d\u00a0<strong>37\u00a0<\/strong>But he answered them,\u00a0\u201cYou give them something to eat.\u201d\u00a0And\u00a0they said to him,\u00a0\u201cShall we go and buy two hundred denarii[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Mark%206%3A35-38&amp;version=ESV#fen-ESV-24441a\">a<\/a>]\u00a0worth of bread and give it to them to eat?\u201d\u00a0<strong>38\u00a0<\/strong>And he said to them,\u00a0\u201cHow many loaves do you have? Go and see.\u201d\u00a0And when they had found out, they said,\u00a0\u201cFive, and two fish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following Jesus and enjoying life are not mutually exclusive.
