This isn’t a masquerade but we are trying to portray someone else when living this life as a Christ-follower. A life that exhibits the virtues and actions in Romans 12 will help other people to see past who we are and onto someone else. This is the hope as Christians so that we can share who Jesus is with people. But even if you don’t believe in Him, you cannot deny these acts of service and love because of what they are.
Romans 12:9-13 ESV
9Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. 10Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. 11Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. 12Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. 13Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.
