For me, I love the very center of a cinnamon roll. It’s the sweetest, gooiest, and best part of the delicious treat. But more than that bite, I love my wife and if she wants that piece then I’ll give it to her. This is a small picture of what God’s love can look like for us. He puts in all of the work and we get the final piece and get to lift our arms in victory after the race. Love God, love your spouse, share your cinnamon roll.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV
4Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
